Show me you're PAWS!

Actually, I wear the nail polish to hide how grubby my nails are.
-Caroline Corr

The one thing about having a good style is having clean cut nails.

Nails aren't the focus most of the time but it is important to keep them clean and cut.  Always wash your hands and clean under your nails.  Food and bacteria build up and the second your fingers touch your lips, you can sick or worse, a pimple.

Finger Nails should always be slightly rounded and toe nails should be straight cut.  If toe nails are rounded, they become in-grown which become painful and could damage the toe.

Whether you are male or female, take care.  Cut your nails once a week and file when you can to keep them tidy.

Guys, getting a mani/pedi is fine.  You don't have to paint your nails, but have them cleaned and shaped up.  Cuticles can over grow and also form in-grown nails which again, is painful!

Girls, color is key if you do them.

Note on your skin color, any event you are going to and season.

Darks on darker skin or during winter.
Lights on all skin and spring.
Fun and Wild colors on all skins especially during the summer.

Basic colors that I do enjoy, are pale pink, red, dark red or fun pinks!

I grow my nails enough to give a nice French Tip (which is perfect for any occasion or season!)

My current color is a rusty purple

But another great thing to have on your fingers and toes, are classic rings that are fun, wild and simple.

I have my basic bands, tribals, giant flowers, colored and both gold and silver colors.

But don't forget that having rings on your fingers and toes are adorable, but multiples shouldn't cover your fingers completely.

Personally, I don't mix gold and silver but if you do it right, it can look beautiful.

I usually have 4-5 rings on at a time, nothing big, all small bands and one thick one.

xoxo
