Hi!
Name: Emily
Age: 19, almost 20
Location: New York
Color: Pink
Interest: Art, fashion, reading, music, languages, teaching
Goals: To one day work for the UN as a translator, teach and have the typical dream of having a family.
I am new to the blog scene but friends love my fashion and style and many want me to help them find their own style. Many, ask me to go shopping with them and help them find new clothes for their closet. And one of the my dear friends recently told me I should create not only a blog, but a tumblr, which I will be doing soon and will inform you once I have it going.
But lets start with how I get my style. Sales, sales, SALES! I look for sales and get items that just went out and re-create them for the coming season. To me, no pair of shoes or shirt goes out until that same season comes around. I then store it for a year or so and bring them back out and make it 'whats out is in'. I still have jeans from freshman year of high school and can still rock them in 2012.

But what I love the most is that no matter what, no two people have the same. You can classify two people to lets say the hipster category. However, one can be more of a Californian Surfer and the other a New York City Artsy. Each category has it's own sub-level for each person.
How I classify myself is a risk taker. I try new ideas, for instance, I wear red lips during summer. Which everyone knows red is a fall color, but I believe as long as you have confidence, you can rock the red during a summer night. Style is about breaking the rules and enjoying yourself.
What everyone else thinks of my fashion goes back and forth from a hipster to hippie. I love cool wearing headbands around my forehead and black leather boots with shorts.
A typical outfit for myself is jeans, a shirt, some pair of shoes and a scarf. Thats my signature style, a scarf. Almost every time I go out, I have a scarf on. Either tied into my hair or on my neck and sometimes around my waist. Thats the one thing, in my eyes that can almost never go out of style.

See? Thats me. Always wearing a scarf. But once more, a smile is the best quality. Always smile, do not forget that.
This post is everywhere, and I plan to clean it up my posts every time I do come on here, bear with me but do enjoy! Here's my first post but I hopefully plan to update once a day with another tip or idea.
