“Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.”
― Mother Teresa
Smiling is the best thing to wear when going out.
But we all have those embarrassing things that we don't want to share. Braces, crooked teeth, discolored or even chipped/loss of teeth.
Its okay. We all have those things that we wish we didn't have. But having them are fine!
I have tinted teeth from all the coffee that I drink.
There are ways to push through and fix these problems. It also depends on how much you are willing to spend.
For those with colored teeth like mine, I once every 6 or so months, get those packets of 7 1-hour whitening strips and just fix them up a little bit. I spend about $20 on that.
For those who want professional work, then expect much more money but less time.
Braces? emBRACE them! I never had them, but rock wild colors or get the clear ones. They are only temporary and won't be there forever. And when you come out, you'll have the perfect mouth! People would kill to have the opportunity to even get braces, so be glad you can have them!
Slightly crooked teeth? Get Invisaline. Or retainers, or something else to get them straight without something so expensive.
As for chipped or loss of teeth? If you like it, then do nothing. Screw the jerks that tell you anything else! But if you want to, and you really REALLY WANT to, then talk to your dentist, there are ways to replace and edit your teeth.
Be sure to smile and know that your smile is beautiful. Don't let anyone else tell you ANYTHING else.

Show me some Skin!
Be able to go shopping for a bathing suit and not become depressed afterward.
-Marilyn Vos Savant
Its that time, were you pack away those jeans, and put on your shorts and tanks to keep cool during the unbearable weather.
Well I am here to talk about bathing suits.
Guys: Wear the shorts, ones that fit! THE BAGGY SWIMWEAR IS A NO. I should not be seeing your underwear and your swimwear down to your knees like those jeans you wear as well. Its disgusting and inappropriate. Have them low enough to turn a girl on but like I said, not low enough.
NEVER WEAR A SPEEDO. Unless you are in your own backyard tanning. Speedos are a NO NO NO!
Girls: The styles and options are endless.
bikini
tankini
one suits
But of course, there are the different designs to each.
you got the string, sports halter, tubes, padded-bra, the one-suit with cut outs. Its crazy and find them for your right shape, color and style.
My personal favorites are the bandeau/tube style with string bottoms.
Perfect for tanning, and have the ones that can attach a string to make them a halter. Its perfect for swimming around as well.

Show me you're PAWS!
Actually, I wear the nail polish to hide how grubby my nails are.
-Caroline Corr
The one thing about having a good style is having clean cut nails.
Nails aren't the focus most of the time but it is important to keep them clean and cut. Always wash your hands and clean under your nails. Food and bacteria build up and the second your fingers touch your lips, you can sick or worse, a pimple.
Finger Nails should always be slightly rounded and toe nails should be straight cut. If toe nails are rounded, they become in-grown which become painful and could damage the toe.
Whether you are male or female, take care. Cut your nails once a week and file when you can to keep them tidy.
Guys, getting a mani/pedi is fine. You don't have to paint your nails, but have them cleaned and shaped up. Cuticles can over grow and also form in-grown nails which again, is painful!
Girls, color is key if you do them.
Note on your skin color, any event you are going to and season.
Darks on darker skin or during winter.
Lights on all skin and spring.
Fun and Wild colors on all skins especially during the summer.
Basic colors that I do enjoy, are pale pink, red, dark red or fun pinks!
I grow my nails enough to give a nice French Tip (which is perfect for any occasion or season!)
My current color is a rusty purple

But another great thing to have on your fingers and toes, are classic rings that are fun, wild and simple.
I have my basic bands, tribals, giant flowers, colored and both gold and silver colors.
But don't forget that having rings on your fingers and toes are adorable, but multiples shouldn't cover your fingers completely.
Personally, I don't mix gold and silver but if you do it right, it can look beautiful.
I usually have 4-5 rings on at a time, nothing big, all small bands and one thick one.

Jeans Jeans Jeans!
Blue jeans are the most beautiful things since the gondola.
Diana Vreeland
Diana Vreeland
Hey! So today is about jeans jeans jeans! Whether they be jean shorts, jeans, capris, colors, skinny, flare, boot cut.
Of course, every person has a preference to what kind of jeans they like. I personally don't buy the LEVI brand or GAP. I go for the ones that flatter my curves and what are the cheapest for my budget. I usually go to FOREVER 21 or American Eagle; I do have another store called Danice around me that I go to.
Forever 21 I like because they are only $10 and I can get any color and any style, but I like my skinny jeans. American Eagle I go to for high-waisted and the ripped jeans. Danice, I go for my cool colored jeans.
I actually just did my laundry and I finally realized how many pairs of jeans I possess.
-Light Green Jeans (Danice)
-White Jeans (Danice)
-Teal Jeans (Danice)
-Grey Jeans (Danice)
-High Waisted Jeans (AE)
-Ripped/Boot Cut Jeans (AE)
-Black Jeans (F21)
-Blue Jeans (2x) (F21)
-Dark Blue Jeans (F21)
Thats 10 pairs, plus I have
-Pink Workout Shorts (Modells)
-Soffee Black (2x) (Modells)
-Soffee Grey (Modells)
-White Jean Shorts (Sears)
-Aeropostale (hand-made) (AERO)
-Random Home Made Jeans (UNKOWN)
Make sure, before you go shopping you measure and find out what your size is. I know I am a 2/3 usually. Its rare if I am anything different, but I sometimes, depending, need to go up a size because I have a big ass compared to many other girls and sometimes, sadly, they don't fit with my waist and I need to get a size bigger, and wear belts. (Which is fine, but if thats necessary, get simple and cute belts!)
NEVER buy a size smaller unless you known you'll loose the weight because you've been working out like crazy. Honestly, no one wants to see your muffin top. Do yourself a favor and get pairs that make you look beautiful not appear skinnier then you are and desperate. Trust me, you'll gather the right crowd around you if you look the part.
Every Girl: should possess a pair of colored jeans, skinny, flare or boot cut. Make sure you get different styles.
A simple colored shirt like teal, with a pair of ripped jeans, sandal wedges and a cute chunky white necklace is sexy and simple. Or go even go heeled boots, boot flare jeans, a bright belt and a white shirt with a cute fedora hat.
Every Boy: should have a light, dark, and medium colored jeans.
PLEASE! BOYS! do NOT wear your jeans so low WITH A BELT and have to hold it to keep it up. Honestly, its disgusting first and two it came from jail cells from inmates that wanted sex with the same sex. Unless you do want that, pull them up. Have them slightly loose on your waist with a belt.
Dress like you're from Europe, its classy and clean and girls will swoon from the idea that you dress like you are from there.
Here are my tips on jeans, stay posted, tell your friends and always stay fashionable.

Basic Shoe Closet
“For women, shoes are the most important. Good shoes take you good places.”
― Seo Min Hyun
One thing about every person's closet is having the right pair of shoes. Whether they are high heels, flats, boots, flip flops, boat shoes or keds. Having a variety is the best thing you can do.
In my own personal closet, I possess
-black high heels
-brown riding boots
-black fold over boots
-brown oxfords
-boat shoes
-multiple gladiator shoes
-pink flip flops
-moccasins
-white keds
-black converse
-white running/cheerleader shoes
-grey suede ankle high cowboy boots
-black lace up sandals
-grey/black lace Italian flats
-pastel colored coach sneakers
My mom thinks I have a lot of shoes, but I do not. HA! I really do think that having one pair of each type is perfect for a perfect wardrobe. High heels, boots, flats, sandals, flip flops, sneakers and oxfords.
Girls, face it, shoes complete and outfit. They can bring multiple colors in an outfit together, they can make them fun to sophisticated. Can make you feel confident no matter what you're wearing or going.
Boys: sneakers, flip flops, oxfords/italian leather and a pair of boots. These shoes can bring an outfit together just like a girls. They can become fun to sophisticated. Can make you from uncaring-rolled outta bed sexy to European sexy (and what ALL girls secretly want).
But do remember this there is never such a thing of too many pairs of shoes. Each pair is a baby, treat them right.
Start with basics, and you'll be one sexy person.

Myself
"Girls do not dress for boys. They dress for themselves, and of course, each other. If girls dressed for boys, they'd just walk around naked at all times" -Betsey Johnson.
Hi!
Name: Emily
Age: 19, almost 20
Location: New York
Color: Pink
Interest: Art, fashion, reading, music, languages, teaching
Goals: To one day work for the UN as a translator, teach and have the typical dream of having a family.
I am new to the blog scene but friends love my fashion and style and many want me to help them find their own style. Many, ask me to go shopping with them and help them find new clothes for their closet. And one of the my dear friends recently told me I should create not only a blog, but a tumblr, which I will be doing soon and will inform you once I have it going.
But lets start with how I get my style. Sales, sales, SALES! I look for sales and get items that just went out and re-create them for the coming season. To me, no pair of shoes or shirt goes out until that same season comes around. I then store it for a year or so and bring them back out and make it 'whats out is in'. I still have jeans from freshman year of high school and can still rock them in 2012.

But what I love the most is that no matter what, no two people have the same. You can classify two people to lets say the hipster category. However, one can be more of a Californian Surfer and the other a New York City Artsy. Each category has it's own sub-level for each person.
How I classify myself is a risk taker. I try new ideas, for instance, I wear red lips during summer. Which everyone knows red is a fall color, but I believe as long as you have confidence, you can rock the red during a summer night. Style is about breaking the rules and enjoying yourself.
What everyone else thinks of my fashion goes back and forth from a hipster to hippie. I love cool wearing headbands around my forehead and black leather boots with shorts.
A typical outfit for myself is jeans, a shirt, some pair of shoes and a scarf. Thats my signature style, a scarf. Almost every time I go out, I have a scarf on. Either tied into my hair or on my neck and sometimes around my waist. Thats the one thing, in my eyes that can almost never go out of style.

See? Thats me. Always wearing a scarf. But once more, a smile is the best quality. Always smile, do not forget that.
This post is everywhere, and I plan to clean it up my posts every time I do come on here, bear with me but do enjoy! Here's my first post but I hopefully plan to update once a day with another tip or idea.
