Fall Season!

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.
~Albert Camus

Sorry for the lack of posts, between packing for college, unpacking for college and first two weeks of classes, I have finally found my beat and am back to continue this blog.  You'll meet new faces, hear of new ideas that I gather from students internationally, (yes I do mean EUROPEAN) and what is in for the coming seasons!

This is the season of leggings, boots, leg-warmers, sheer tops and scarves!  SO EXCITED! I can finally wear a scarf and not look weird any more! :D

It is my favorite season for fashion, like many others.  But this Fall, I have the do's and don'ts and my personal opinion on some and what I think can work!

Be sure to check Glamour Magazine for more details then the ones I have!

Safe handbags aren't in! Wild prints are a must!  Snake skin with hot pink? PLEASE DO!
-I love this idea, being safe is never in.  Show your personality!  Love zebra and purple?
Well, my suite mate does and OH MAN! It is everywhere!  I personally love pink..

Sporty and lady like!
-Adding your favorite sport cap to a cute shirt and jeans and heels?  Perfect for a game!
          LETS GO GIANTS!  METS!  ISLANDERS!

Pointy Pumps!  Are just perfect!! Pairing them with wide-leg jeans would never work but having them with cropped pants are a match-made-in-heaven!

Adding different textures improves your wardrobe perfectly.  Cashmere with a simple skirt to add flavor is divine!

FALL! (hahah) back in love with the peacoat!  Navy-blue is the color to be looking for!
-Yes, this particular coat can be $$ BUT!, why not splurge?  This is the one jacket that
         will always be in style!

Bright colors from Spring laying in your closet, burning a hole? USE THEM!
-Bright cherry red pumps to your little black dress, red lips, simple hair and basic,
simple jewelry will make you stand out in a party!

Old-school quilted fabrics are a MUST!  Just be-careful that you don't make yourself a quilt...

Statement collars are the best thing to have this season!  Jewels and beads to play up something so old and tailored is perfect!

-What I have noticed as well, sheer tops are in as well.  All colors, styles and prints are
        in!

The #1 thing for this fall?!

DRESS THOSE COZY SWEATERS!  Mini skirts, maxi skirts, heels, do whatever necessary to make something timeless feel fresh and new!

Now, I have an example of what I wore today for classes, for the first day of Fall-like weather.  Now keep in mind on what I posted above, I came up with this outfit and I love it.

I have basic makeup to keep myself looking healthy and open up my eyes a little more.  Many people have asked how I manage to keep my eye lashes curled and perfect, so I will be doing a tutorial soon!

My favorite brown riding boots with a dark teal/blue leg-warmers (for that breeze that comes through as you walk across the quad).

Leggings, a major YES! for an outfit like this, jeans would look too frumpy with this sheer teal shirt of mine.  Wearing a tank top underneath is classy and appropriate for going to classes, however going out a bandeau or a nude bra would be perfect as well.  Kept the natural curly hair with a small poof for my bangs.

Wore one bow ring on my middle finger on my left hand, a pearl ring on my right pointer, two teal bangles, four pearl earrings (two small peach for my cartilage and two white for my second hole and feather/beads for my first holes.

Don't forget you are beautiful!
See you guys soon!

xoxo
